After years of not really having a Bio, I figured it was about time I did this for real.
I am an adult male, the age of "Old enough to know better; young enough to do it anyway!". I believe my B-day is listed so you can do the math if you desire since, well, by the time you read this my age may have changed; it does seem to do that on a regular basis. I currently live in the Capital District of New York in a house that pre-dates the war between the states. I love the house (most days) and the location.
I was born and raised in the south and my 7+ year stint up here is my only time in Yankee territory. I find the dichotomy between the North and South Interesting. In the South, everyone comes out to greet you and they seem very friendly but unless you have been part of the respective society for a very long time, you never really belong, they will just pretend you're included. In the North it is very clannish. It can take quite a long time to break into a group at all but once you are accepted and brought in, you're solid.
Anyway, college was at the University of Arizona where I majored in Mechanical Engineering and then ended up getting my degree in Management Information Systems, long story. I've worked on databases for Airlines, Telco and Insurance. It is the ultimate of unsung hero since if you do your job correctly, no one knows you exist.
I'm married, no kids but we do have 5 cats and 2 snakes. I have always been around well traveled people who have done interesting things, so it was a surprise to me to find that most people are not that diverse.
